A "just for reference" post, perhaps made way too late. I had the data long ago, but I've posted it elsewhere. It's originally table data, making it hard to manipulate, which is why I didn't bother.
Anyway, this is the growth potential of each class. Growth potential comes from the difference between the base value and the maximum value of a class, and is useful when you want to maximize a unit's stats across all classes.
For example, suppose you want to reclass Kjelle and maximize her Str and Def. Since General has the best growth potential for Str and Def, promoting her to one and maxing her Str and Def would mean that those stats are also maxed in her other classes. The opposite is not true: promote her to other classes, max those stats, then switch to General, and her Str and Def will not be maxed.
This is really only useful for perfectionist players with way too much time, like me when I run out of other 3DS games to play. It doesn't really mean anything though, since it is not required to beat Apotheosis or Double Duel, and you are still going to lose in StreetPass battles since StreetPass teams cannot Pair Up (not that you should win, because they will just reset their game).

If a character can reclass to these classes, the player should attempt to maximise that stat while in that class (provided it is possible).
