Just some random thought I had before. Here, I describe several games, but the descriptions are intentionally misleading. They're completely true, though.
Let's see how many can you guess! I'd be surprised if you can get 2 or more right, actually. I don't think I've talked about many of these games here, with one exception (hint hint).
(1) SEGA and Nintendo join forces to produce a game where tons of characters take part in competitions.
(2) 3D Capcom fighting game with fighters from all around the world.
(3) This game features a pair of twin brothers, in red and green. The red brother is somewhat hot-blooded, and the green one is more calm. One of them is more popular than the other.
(4) A run-and-gun series where the gunners can grab many different types of weapons on their way. They fight enemies who are sometimes alien, and bosses that are otherworldly abominations. Too bad the company that makes these games isn't as committed to traditional video games as before.
(5) A large Japanese game publisher once made a series of flashy, chaotic games using elements from some of its other series, plus a few original stuff. Even if you don't know that company or its games, its silly actions will keep you interested enough.
Answers will be posted in a week, or whenever I feel like it.

Hey Nox! I'm semi-back after being sick for a while. Hmm, this sounds fun though.
I'm gonna attempt to guess No. 1 and No.3. 1. I'm guessing it's the Olympic game for Sochi 2014, I think?
3. It sounds a bit like...the EDF series - Earth Defense Force. I was gonna say Splatoon...wait...Splatoon is more kid-friendly. XD
I'm not sure about the others though...

Okay, so here are the answers! (1) SEGA and Nintendo join forces to produce a game where tons of characters take part in competitions. {Answer}This seems to be about: the Mario & Sonic series
This is actually about: F-ZERO AX (arcade), F-ZERO GX (GameCube)
Breakdown: SEGA and Nintendo: F-ZERO AX / GX was developed by AMUSEMENT VISION, a studio under SEGA, while under the supervision of Shigeru Miyamoto. Tons of characters: There are 41 machines available for selection, each with different pilot(s). Competitions: Which races are. (2) 3D Capcom fighting game with fighters from all around the world. {Answer}This seems to be about: STREET FIGHTER IV, STERRT FIGHTER V
This is actually about: the Power Stone series (Dreamcast)
Breakdown: 3D Capcom fighting game: Yep. I was referring to 3D gameplay here, not just the graphics. Fighters from all around the world: Sounds like a lot of fighting games, and Power Stone is no exception, having fighters from various (real world) contries. (3) This game features a pair of twin brothers, in red and green. The red brother is somewhat hot-blooded, and the green one is more calm. One of them is more popular than the other. {Answer} This seems to be about: the Super Mario series This is actually about: Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright (3DS), Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation (3DS large-scale DLC) Breakdown: Twin brothers in red and green: Saizou and Suzukaze. Saizou is the older twin who wears red (complete with red hair), and Suzukaze wears green (and has green hair). Red is hot-blooded, green is calm: Saizou is reckless while Suzukaze is calm. One more popular than the other: In-series, Saizo's recklessness makes him less popular, while Suzukaze has a natural ability to attract women. I never said the red brother is more popular. (4) A run-and-gun series where the gunners can grab many different types of weapons on their way. They fight enemies who are sometimes alien, and bosses that are otherworldly abominations. Too bad the company that makes these games isn't as committed to traditional video games as before. {Answer}This seems to be about: the Contra series
This is actually about: the Metal Slug series
Breakdown: Many different types of weapons: And they have ammo limit too, unlike Contra. Alien enemies and otherworldly bosses: The Mars People, zombies, monoliths, and more. Company not committed to traditional games: We all know about Konami, but SNK Playmore had their own issues too. They were acquired by a Chinese company who wants to push SNK characters to other media, and SNK Playmore has stopped making pachinko machines (okay, so that's one thing not like Konami) and published console games less frequently in favour of mobile. (5) A large Japanese game publisher once made a series of flashy, chaotic games using elements from some of its other series, plus a few original stuff. Even if you don't know that company or its games, its silly actions will keep you interested enough. {Answer} This seems to be about: the Super Smash Bros. series This is actually about: the Parodius series Breakdown: Large publisher: Konami. Flashy, chaotic, uses things from other games: Parodius features levels and enemies based on exaggerated versions of daily life objects, Japanese culture, and other Konami games. Silly actions: See for yourself.
