Soooo....(I don't even have the console for this XD)
If anyone who's played FE Warriors tell me the good, bad and ugly about it?
I read conflicting information about it and I have no idea whether it'll be decent or not. So...any thoughts?

I did. I'm also effectively the only other member of this forum, although according to my Nintendo Switch friend list, Elchi and Liz have also got the system. I assume that you already have essential information like the playable characters and the general structure of the game. You can look at this Japanese wiki if you want a one-stop source of information. I've talked about it elsewhere, but here's some more info that may be more relevant to Fire Emblem players: - The UI isn't Fire Emblem-like and takes some time to get used to.
- Good graphics, and you can pick between 1080p30 (default) and 720p60 (favoured by a lot of players who are used to Nintendo games). Definitely better than all other FE games, and all other non-PS4 Warriors games.
- Very good music, especially if you already like FE11/13/14 music and don't mind having rock remixes.
- The level up system isn't Fire Emblem-like at all. The benefit of promoting is more pronounced here, and level ups are fixed.
- Also very pronounced is weapon effectiveness and the weapon triangle. Pick the wrong unit, and your fight will be much longer. So in a way, battle preparation is half the battle. This affects History Mode even more, since you're given a time constraint if you're aiming for the highest ranking.
- This is an action game so it varies between players, but I find this game easy overall. You can't pick Lunatic from the beginning, and by the time you unlock it (by finishing the main game) you're already so powerful that you can laugh at Lunatic's final boss. History Mode, on the other hand, can be challenging.
- The story is… well, see for yourself! Just don't expect anything revolutionary. The focus of Fire Emblem Warriors is as an action game.
- This game has rather significant loading time. In Story Mode, they mask it by playing the story dialogs while loading, but you still have to wait at some points. Fortunately, this isn't a disc-based game.
- I like this game overall, but I won't be praising it the way I did with Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE. Like that game, this game feels like an answer to "What if KOEI TECMO GAMES made Fire Emblem and it's an action game?" and an alternative telling of a (not so) standard Fire Emblem tale, but this one feels more orthodox. It also isn't there to satisfy all FE fans, but you really should look at FE Heroes or TCG FE Cipher instead if fanservice is what you're after.
Verdict: Good, but it's not quite the best thing ever. It certainly didn't beat Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE or some of the main series Fire Emblem games (if comparing action games to RPGs and SRPGs even makes sense), but it does have a few good points. Expect good action, graphics and music, but not a particularly good story or really interesting gameplay in long term.

I can't believe that I actually got a notification for this forum and I'm appearing again after years...
I've been lurking on Twitter and a lot of people hate it. I mean it IS a hack-and-slash game so you just go around killing things...
I haven't gottwn a Switch yet (or a WiiU) so I dunno.
Hi again LOL.

Hi!
I can see why people hate it (the roster, the moveset clones, and the occasional game crashes too), but I think it's going to be hated one way or another when it comes to the roster. Pick from more games, and people will complain about the roster not digging deep enough and end up with only one or two characters per game.
I like this game, I bought a Switch over it, but that's just me.

Um... heads up, if you haven't bought the game yet, consider that it's sometimes prone to crashing.
And it's not some small, isolated incidents either. Although the particular reason isn't known, it tends to happen right after special attacks. It also tends to happen during fights with the final boss and when the playeris Elise, although other combinations have happened too. This happens when the console is docked (doesn't mater whether it's in performance or quality mode). This wasn't fixed even after several updates.
