Here is some of my Gungnir Artwork *hides* If it is too large, I'll try my best to resize it. Let's see if this ones works before I add anything else... (Now that it kind of does, I'll just add this: I decided to apply Sen no Kiseki's art style to Gungnir characters. I've had a nagging suspicion that the style use in Sen is a more refined version of Gungnir's...and how did I come to that you might ask? By comparing Rean and Alisa's eyes with Giulio's and Alissa's. Imo, I see some similarities in the way the eyes are portrayed...and possibly the hair texture as well) |

And here is Lady Valerie's profile. I guess I need to start drawing more? I feel that the art style of the characters, especially their hair, can be difficult to render in a more "semi-realistic" portrayal? Or maybe it's just me. Meh, I've forgotten gow intricate braided hair can be. =p

Interesting... Well, I don't really have much comment, except that Giulio doesn't really look like what his official artwork shows. Maybe it's just that I'm not used to the character. I can't see your 2nd post's pic, though. this is what I see:  (Actually, because of my aged broswer, I can't see anything from Photobucket without some workaround; but that's another story.) |

Here are some others I am working on I won't show my interpretation of Wolfgang III just yet, Not until I complete some of the other guy characters anyway =pStarting from this:  {About Pamela a.k.a. the Dept. Heaven series mascot}I hope it's clear enough. Let me know and I'll reupload this. For those of you new to this series, she is a witch named Pamela. She appears to be ageless and her strongest trait is...what's the word...being goofy? She's definitely the comic relief of the series aside from specific characters in each surface realm. Here are the pixies of the Forest of Tranquility:   I had a hard time trying to imagine how they'd looked from the front or the side so...(I'm so glad I have a reference to follow) and lastly...  {I found it odd that...}She appears to be nine or ten but really she is 55 years old. Paulo confirms this fact the first time he mets her. He says something along the lines of: "Aren't you supposed to be dead?" She seems to be interested in Gungnir and a certain somebody who is half her age. |

Try imgur. Photobucket started as a nice way to put images online, but subsequent upgrades made it unwieldy. I think lineart works differently from coloured images. That said, Pamela's mouth could be less detailed. The way you drew it makes it looks like a vampire's mouth at a glance. The pixies look elaborate. I'm not used to seeing front-side character portraits, so Tié looks a bit unusual to me. Isabeli... no comments. What is her role...ugh, nevermind. The power of the Internet. |

Lol at the vampire comment. That...was my eraser's fault or more likely my fault, haha. I guess I tend to press too hard when I draw. I don't think front-side character portraits are common nowadays...(I could be wrong, but anyway) I looked at Isabeli's profile just now. Whoever said she was Daltan needs to check with the Official Artbook. *unless there was a typo but I doubt this*. So much so I went to edit some sentences on random Gungnir profiles. Not on Isabeli's profile per say, but even I could tell that the sentences didn't flow as well. I'll throw in a little tidbit while I'm here: She's not even from the Gargan Empire. In spite of how cheap she can be in-game. Isabeli is one of the characters I want to know more about in terms of her role in the overall story - actually I want to know more about the fabulous trio that His Majesty King Wolfgang III hired. They seem to know what's going a whole lot more than everyone else. |

I hope this works...? The good thing about liking Gungnir: Inferno of the Demon Lance and War of Heroes is that I now have reference portraits of old fogies, LOL. Here's one for the forums. I'll post more later. I think in terms of drawings I finished the head portraits of all Gungnir (of the DHE series) characters that have two pages dedicated to them (though I cheated on Elise and Heramia a bit) XD |

Here are most of the remaining profiles of characters who have a full two pages for themselves (in the artbook). This time the picture sizes might vary due to the random order in which I would crop before I resize pictures and vice versa. I rather have something to show prior to editing then not have anything to show at all. There's nothing here that would spoil someone unless they look at the profiles~ S eems like I have a hard time drawing men with beards, har har. |
