Looks like a typical proud army leader. Stubborn, has something he just can't get over with, and defence-oriented statistically. Yup, but it depends on what the game does with said character and how they develop. Geez, Rob, why are you so mean to your son-in-law?!...*cough* {Spoiler}I think the player (or at least in my case, I) was expecting at least a little gratitude from Sir Robertus, I think.
Esperanza brought Princess Alessandra to the castle in one piece. Dude, it's your daughter. Wait, you're not happy? *Le sigh*
The Leonicans/Imperialists could have used her as a bargaining tool or threaten to do something with her or mistreat her badly (regardless of whether Natalia was there or not.)
Robertus effectively spots Esperanza in the wrong place (near the throne room where the Emperor was murdered) at the wrong time and tells them they will be executed for the murder of the emperor.
To top it all off, Robertus goes to the princess and says it was all according to her plans, LOL. In the cutscene, you can see that even Alissa had no idea what was going on at all XD (We - meaning the players, don't really know if Robertus' comment was true, false, or perhaps even partially true.)
Speaking of which, I don't think Alissa thought that the leader of Esperanza would end up being a teenager she'd fall for. She must have thought he'd be some older man with a mustache or a beard. Someone more awe-inspiring like...Rodrigues XD

I really should give myself a deadline. Maybe till mid-April to finish Isabeli, Zaird, and Rodrigues.
So far:
Paulo and Emperor Wolfgang III is done and I should bring them up.
As for smaller profiles, I'll go with:
the Millenians - Gernic, Orvissa (sp?), and Jerkin
Imperial Army - Pierre, Bacchus *ugh*, Nelson, Wallace, Albert *likes abstract poetry*, Regina. LOL...oh dear.

Don't feel too bad. I have a different translation project that I'm lagging behind, because of other distractions.

Here we go. Post first, edit later XD This time, it features the game's tyrannical ruler of Gargania: the emperor himself.
Fun Facts: The current emperor of the Gargan Empire is 61 years old at the start of the game. His weapon is officially considered to be the Holy Lance/Astral Lance Veronica - it is theorized by those who are direct descendants of the Imperial family (meaning, the Delacroixs) have the ability to wield it, and just like its counterpart the Demon Lance Gungnir, the Astral Lance Veronica is *definitely* not a normal weapon.
Background Information:
Emperor Wolfang III is the current ruler of the Gargan Empire.
Upon hearing an Astral prophecy (which predicted his death by one of his sons), his fear of the Astral prophecy’s fulfillment was so great that he tried to kill all of his heirs to stop the prophecy from being fulfilled.
However, after being made aware of the fact that one of his sons escaped to Espada, the emperor sent the Imperial Knights to investigate the matter. Led by none other than Sir Robertus Raymont, this incident initially led to rebellion and civil war (which was led by Ricardo Raguel at that time), resulting in a large-scale conflict between the ruling upper-class Daltans and the impoverished lower-class Leonicans. The consequences of this insurrection and its demise that would be subsequently known as the Espada Massacre.
Physical Appearance:
Emperor Wolfgang III has a mixture of white and light brown hair (according to his full portrait) on his beard and head. His illness and medical treatment causes his cheeks to sag and hollow out.
In his younger years, Emperor Wolfgang III lead the frontline in war against the Holy State of Millenia. It left him with a scar that ran down the full length of his body.
Social/Political Standing:
Wolfgang III is the current emperor of the Gargan Empire/Gargania.
Manner of Speech:
Emperor Wolfgang III uses 'yo', a formal and oratory 1st person pronoun, and 'omae' or ‘ki-sama’ to refer to others beneath his status. He speaks knowing that he will die soon
Personality/Disposition:
Emperor Wolfgang III mercilessly puts down those whose opinions and thoughts which seem opposed to his without any second thought, earning the well-deserved title of a tyrant. He only speaks and listens attentively to both the Prime Minister Ziyad and Sir Robertus of the Imperial knights.
Strengths:
The emperor was once charismatic and possessed a tremendous amount of drive and initiative, just like how (his surviving son) Ragnus is in front of the public.
Weaknesses:
Emperor Wolfgang III's selfishness is shown by his lack of interest in hearing other people's conversations. He lost this aspect of himself over the years and has now become a typical tyrant in his old age.
Likes:
Emperor Wolfgang III loves warring and falconry.
Dislikes:
Emperor Wolfgang III hates the Gargan Empire's parliament, and whenever he perceives that his goals are being thwarted or challenged.
Desires:
Emperor Wolfgang III desires to become the 'King' that was mentioned in the Astral prophecies, as he would obtain immortality or possibly become god-like.
My thoughts:
I was hoping I could fight him in-game, but nope, his son had to kill him offscreen. *claps*

Sounds like a good boss to fight against. Yeah, this kind of character should have been fought in-game.
It sounds like a common character archetype, but I can't think of any example off my head.

Update:
My goal for next year is to finish these. I have too many projects I started on DA and it's hard for me to focus on one thing at a time. I also bought a Japanese 101 textbook so I'll see how that goes.

I doomed myself, rofl. My brain likes to jump from one pairing to another, that's why XDDDD (anyone who's brave enough to read my DA Fire Emblem fanfiction would know what I'm talking about. "You just left it hanging?! Yeah, I don't know what I'm doinggggg and I write tooo slooowww =p"

Looking back on this, I guess I should ask you, Nox, for permission if I could continue using this space to finish my Gungnir translations. I am oddly motivated for some reason...huh. XD

I just realized I lost track of which profiles I've translated that weren't the major six characters in the teen-young adult generation.
So I guess I have:
Paulo Isabeli Prime Minister Ziyad/Zaird left.
In Dept. Heaven Gungnir lore, they all used to work together under the emperor at one point...
